This project brings together recent graduates from the Guildhall and Royal Academy jazz departments in an unconventional instrumental line-up of trombone, violin, vibraphone and electric bass.

 

Vij Prakash's compositions draw upon a range of influences from the harmonic worlds of Kenny Wheeler and John Taylor, to the soundscapes of Bill Frisell and Avishai Cohen and the rhythmic play of west African bembé and Cuban rhumba.
