The ‘infectiously enthusiastic and hugely talented’ Tim Boniface is a highly regarded jazz multi-instrumentalist based in London and Cambridge. Tim plays saxophones, trumpet and flugelhorn, and piano, guitars and other things (and sings), in his own jazz groups and as a session musician and side-man or accompanist for numerous other musicians and production companies. 

Fresh from the release of his new band’s album Alive Together (2015), Tim Boniface brings his exceptional colleagues Tom Early (drums) and Ed Babar (double bass) together for an intimate and energetic performance of material from the recent release as well as familiar standards. Together these musicians create a warm, joyful sound rooted in the mainstream tradition, with their own fresh harmonic approach and a focus on evocative melodies and the emotional depth of the songs. Toe tapping guaranteed! The trio are also pleased to announce that the performance will also feature Tara Minton, whose vocals features on three tracks of the new album.
