Q3 was formed in 2013 by pianist and composer Martin Hallmark, and he is joined by Berklee - trained bassist Tiago Coimbra and virtuosic drummer Steve Hynes.

Martin was inspired to follow this path after attending a jazz workshop in the US run by the legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea in 2012.

“Chick liked the music and asked if it was on my record. When I told him I didn’t have a record he said that if ever I made one I should put that piece (Spider Dance) on it".
