"You don't know what love is, until you've learned the meaning of the blues, until you've loved a love you've had to lose." Chet Baker
Let's Get Lost is an Oscar nominated film-noir documentary by iconic fashion photographer, Bruce Weber, on the life of singer, jazz trumpeter and drug addict Chet Baker. Fascinating series of interviews with friends, family, associates and lovers, interspersed with film from Baker's earlier life and some modern-day performances.
We see the young handsome and beautiful James Dean like Baker in California and Italy, where he appeared in at least one movie and at least one jail cell (for drug possession). And, we also see the pre-maturely ravaged Baker, detached, indifferent, his face a ruin of heroin addiction.
