Tom Green & Danielle White

Hot Numbers Coffee

Technology has enabled artists to take control and navigate their own careers. Raestar Promotions is one of the tools available to make it happen. Raestar director Danielle White has overseen the 'rags to riches' (such as it is in jazz) careers of Dennis Rollins, Empirical, Jay Phelps; has worked with Jamie Cullum, Clare Teal, Zoe Rahman and Maceo Parker in addition to coaching numerous UK jazz artists who have benefitted from using her 'profile raising' E-blast promotional tool. Danielle also provides a consultation service for musicians and promoters.

In this seminar Danielle White teams up with a former customer Cambridge's own ubiquitous, trombonist
Tom Green to examine how jazz musicians without managers - and face it most don't have that luxury - can move their careers forward by recognising the importance of self-promotion using services like the Raestar E-blast, publicists, advertising and being generally pro-active. After a quick introduction the session will be opened up for questions and answers.
