Fresh from an extended time playing in the fine Jazz Clubs New York City has to offer, Harry will lead his own Equally talented Quartet who are not so much an “eclectic mix of trip-hop, psyambient, neo-soul, underworld electronic fusion”...

but four accomplished young modern Jazz Musicians, UK rising stars at the top of their game delivering an alternative approach on jazz classics, standards and modern contemporary arrangements that also provide a showcase for Harry’s exciting, standout compositions. Add to that the skills of an exceptional, well renowned star on Sax and you have a performance not to be missed!

Classically trained, Harry studied for 4 years at Trinity Laban Junior then, turning to Jazz aged 18, he distinguished himself at Senior Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Greenwich – twice receiving their Hamburg Improvisation award and gaining a distinction in the high TCL Diploma.

Harry was mentored by the late, great John Taylor for four years, while at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he gained his BMus (Hons) Jazz piano. During his third year, Harry became the youngest jazz pianist ever to lead his own TRIO aboard the legendary Queen Mary 2 Ocean liner, touring the world, Twice!  Upon his return he was selected to join the prestigious Clark Tracey Quintet, touring the UK jazz circuit & all main jazz festivals on numerous occasions for three years.  During this time they completed two albums, which gained 5 stars in Jazz Wise Reviews.  In addition Harry’s recent Debut Album ‘Piece By Piece” has been well received across the world.

Harry plays from the heart with versatility, passion, energy with subtle, soulful flair. He transitions seamlessly from Bop to Modern, ingeniously combining the traditional with the contemporary. As he often says, “If you surprise yourself, you invariably surprise your audience!” With Harry Bolt, you can always Expect the Unexpected – an artist who takes inspiration from the likes of Brad Mehldau, Bill Charlap, Aaron Parks, Michel Petrucciani, John Taylor & Peter Bernstein.
