Gypsy jazz legend Tim Kliphuis rose to fame during his years with Gyosy guitarist Fapy Lafertin and soon was performing with other greats of the genre including The Rosenberg Trio and Angelo Debarre. His book ‘Gypsy Jazz Violin’ is a bestseller.

In this workshop, Tim shows you how to improvise in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, looking at chords, rhythm and ‘licks’ of the tunes ‘Coquette’, ‘Minor Swing’ and ‘Je Suis Seul Ce Soir’. All instruments welcome.
