Cambridgeshire Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) and the Summer School are new exciting opportunities for all students who have an interest in jazz, improvisation and creative music.

In partnership with Cambridgeshire Music and Anglia Ruskin University we are able to offer the chance to study with experienced musicians as well as perform at exciting events, such as:

Summer School

Cambridgeshire Youth Jazz Summer School
Mon Aug 26 - 29, 2019
9.30am – 5pm each day

All abilities welcome. £20/day or £70/whole course (Heavily subsidised)
​
After last year’s sell out success, the jazz summer school returns offering an in-depth study of jazz and improvised music over 4 action packed days. Led by some of the UK’s finest jazz tutors – Joshua Blackmore (drums), Phil Stevenson (guitar and voice), Sam Miles (woodwind and keys) and Vij Prakash (brass) will tailor the course to cater for the experience levels of all the participants.
