Internationally renowned legends, the Tim Kliphuis Trio perform "the most breathtaking instrumental show you'll hear this year", with their stunning musical blend of gypsy jazz, classical and folk music delivered with finesse.

Award-winning Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis  breathes new life into existing styles with a high-energy and improvised sound.  He has been hailed as a contemporary improvising “Paganini” and has shared the stage with Richard Galliano, Frankie Gavin, Les Paul and many gypsy jazz groups including The Rosenberg Trio. Classically trained and widely regarded as Stéphane Grappelli’s heir, Kliphuis is a highly personal and inspiring performer, composer and educator.

Nigel Clark is an awe-inspiring guitar virtuoso with a unique sound, who has played the music of Django Reinhardt all his life.  He has worked with many big names in jazz, folk and rock including Gloria Gaynor, Moya Brennan, Carol Kidd and Scottish hit band Hue and Cry.

Roy Percy’s bass sound is rooted in New Orleans and Jump-Jive, bringing the Trio raw street rhythms and infectious grooves. His unique bass slapping techniques, unrivalled in Europe, and his subtle dynamic feel make for a great range of emotions.

Together their playful inventiveness and technical brilliance has wowed audiences across the world for over a decade.

"Harp Bazaar... A high energy, joyous adventure into the music of Django Reinhardt, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington"

 Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec

Support comes from Harp Bazaar, was born in the minds of Tara Minton (harp & vocals), Duncan Menzies (fiddle) and Filippo Dall’Asta (guitar) in London in late 2015.

The three musicians met on a session and embarked on a unique musical experiment: to combine the majestic and delicate sound of the harp with the speed and erratic energy of traditional Gypsy swing.

The band has performed at Le QuecumBar, London’s most famous Gypsy jazz venue, held a year-long residency at North London’s favourite music pub - The Boogaloo, toured Italy twice and and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2017… Welcome to the new world of Harp Bazaar, something you’ve never heard before!
