Cambridgeshire Youth Jazz Summer School

Mon Aug 26 - 29, 2019

9.30am – 5pm each day

All abilities welcome. £20/day or £70/whole course (Heavily subsidised)

​

After last year’s sell out success, the jazz summer school returns offering an in-depth study of jazz and improvised music over 4 action packed days. Led by some of the UK’s finest jazz tutors – Joshua Blackmore (drums), Phil Stevenson (guitar and voice), Sam Miles (woodwind and keys) and Vij Prakash (brass) will tailor the course to cater for the experience levels of all the participants.

• Special morning warm ups

• Masterclasses

• Experience-based ensembles

• Big Band/large ensemble

• Composition tasks

• Admission to the tutors’ concert

• Participation at Daily jam Sessions

• Participation in end of course concert
