The Black Mamba are the most energetic, emotional and passionate band in Portugal right now. They formed in May 2010 and have since explored the four corners of the world of funk, soul and blues, moulding it to their own modern and funky sound.

Ten years and three albums later, The Black Mamba have played the biggest venues and stages across Portugal. They are a true global band that have already taken their “poison” to Spain, Brazil, the USA, the UK and more. They won the 2021 Portuguese Song Festival and brilliantly broke the mould at Eurovision with the song ‘Love Is On My Side’.

The Black Mamba are preparing to release their 4th album "Last Night in Amsterdam", an album inspired by the band's trip to Amsterdam and stories of city life in the 70's. The funk, soul, rhythm and blues album will include hits such as Love is On my side, Crazy Nando and Sweet Amsterdam (available now on Spotify).

With a legion of fans the whole world over, The Black Mamba continues to earn its place in the music industry, recently winning the award for Best Group in the Vodafone Prémios Play 2022. There is no doubt that they are a consolidated success: their “sting” is not only strong, but it is, and will continue to be, persistent.
