Martin Kemp’s Mingusology returns to Shepreth with a 100th anniversary birthday concert for Charles Mingus. Expect gutsy riffs, bluesy humour, exciting harmonies, bizarre juxtapositions and collective improvisation, along with occasional shouts, whistles and howls – and some lovely vocals from Kate Polak.
